We took our Ascot inspired wreath and gave it a revamp for Christmas.
Upcycling is an ideal way to use up some of those leftover supplies in your craft box and create something unique and low budget in a few simple steps.
- We took some old small plastic baubles and used floristry wire to attach them to the wreath, you could use a strong silicone glue instead.
- To add a splash of purple, bows were made from ribbon and added on top of the existing bows.
- As a focal point, we created purple ribbon roses and glued them in the centre of the bow with a cool melt glue gun.
- Finally we glued on assorted round rhinestones.
You can add as much as you like to fit in with your theme and take away any of the original design too.
