2016 brings us a whole host of reasons be patriotic and celebrate in red, white and blue. There are events for Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th birthday throughout April, May and June. The Rio Olympics kicks off in August (5th to 21st), the FA Cup Final (amongst others) and of course the Eurovision song contest (14th May) for the nostalgic among us.
Maria, our designer, created these colourful Union Jack themed ideas for Queen Elizabeth II’s birthday but they can be made for any patriotic event. Her Majesty’s actual birthday falls on 21st April but celebrations are also planned over a long weekend 12th to 15th May and a street party in the Mall is scheduled for 12th June on her official birthday too.
These fun and easy to make craft ideas will add some pomp and circumstance to your party. From rose tree table centres to patriotic party crackers; you can add a crafty touch to your event with a bit of red, white and blue.
